The Application Support Specialist will assist in development and production application support and will lead efforts to improve existing management and deployment processes. The candidate will be responsible for receiving incidents and requests, analyzing these requests and either responding to them with a solution (incident/bug fix) or escalating it to the other IT teams. These teams may include -among others- the application development team, database administrators, and infrastructure support team. The focus will be in supporting in Linux & Java and it is not a System Admin role.
